Too bad the old counting of sheep practice doesn't work with toddlers. When it comes to bedtime you must have a routine and stick to it. I had to deviate when I became pregnant with my second child and put on bed rest. It was a lot of uncomfortable, and sleepless nights. My husband and I were stiff sleep deprived zombies. He finally got back on track and we have our cozy bed back. After a heart aching week of listening to him cry frantically. Now I take my little one by the hand he says nite nite with a smile and proceeds to his room. We say his prayers and he lays down with his night time lullaby CD playing. I say goodnight and seal it with a kiss.I hope all your night time experiences were not as challenging as mine.
