Making summer break fun and safe made simple. First, you want to get organized and make an agenda.
One week can be like a day camp among friends. This has to be something you and your trusted friends
who have children on break at the same time plan together. Choose at least five friends for each day
of the week to be a host. Reserve weekends for family time. The first day, have one person host a craft
making party. The second day ,a cooking class. What toddler do you know that wouldn't be elated to
make a mess? Day three, a scavenger hunt with evening stories telling. You read or tell a story to get
started then get each child involved by having them tell their own a story. Day four, make believe and
professional dress up day. Let them explore with made up characters or find attire that represents
what career they would like to have when they grow up. For the last day of the week have a relay
race with the neighbors as the audience cheering. Have prizes for each race that range from large
to small. The larger for each winner and smaller ones for all others. Remember the rule that everyone
is a winner and they should be rewarded for participating.
