Young children especially make mother's day worth celebrating. As mother's we should feel grateful that
we have had the opportunity to expereince motherhood. Some women have to work very hard to become
a mother. Men should honor their wives during this time and remember sitting in the labor room watching
their wives perform the ultimate gift of life.
While you are out shopping for mothers day gifts Dads should remember that what ever you get her she
will like it. Flowers, candy, balloons,eating out, and jewelry are common gifts to give for mother's day.
However,you can make uncommon gifts out of these items with a little imagination. Please don't buy
her a broom.Try by starting the day with her waking up to nice hand written notes around the house.
Draw her a picture of her favorite items. Plan a date at home just for the two of you. Like I side use
your imagination.
Again the point of mother's day is to let her know how much you appreciate and love her. However, this
doesn't have to be done by purchasing or creating the perfect gift. In fact, it doesn't even take the perfect
words. All you need to do is speak from the heart and let her know that of all the things she has done in
her life, one of them was being a terrific mother.
If you don't get along with your mother, use mother's day as an opportunity to put your disagreements
aside. The fact is you don't choose your parents, so don't choose to continue to stay out of each others
lives. Don't risk regretting today's actions when your mother isn't around any more. The truth is they don't
get to choose us as children either. For all of us that do get along and have relationships with our mom's
lets make them feel special also on that day and all year.
